Love hat finished

He's been begging me to knit him a hat for the longest time, so I decided to just give it to him instead of waiting for Valentines' Day. I have some other ideas for then, anyways.

No school and a love hat

I had no school today. Not because it was snowing, but because it was too cold, apparently. Weird because it didn't really seem all that cold. Whatever, I am not contesting it. Haha.

What do you think I did with my day off? Well... I read a bit and knit a bit. I thought I would be able to complete a hat from start to finish for my boyfriend for Valentines' Day... But he has a big head and I only got about 3/4 of the way finished. Maybe I will finish before the evening is over. Anyways, here is a pic of it so far:

Well... This scarf has been finished for a little while, I just haven't gotten around to posting about it. I love it soooo much! I am considering making one for myself in the Natural Pink colorway... ^_^




Pattern: Diagonal Silk Scarf (Pattern-a-Day Calendar 2007)
Yarn: Patons Soy Wool Stripes
Amount: 2 Skeins (160 grams, 220 yards)
Needles: US 8
Knit for: Someone secret
Notes: I used a size bigger needles than the pattern called for.

I have been working on a big research paper for school... Its taken forever to gather all of my info. We turned in all of our research today, but the paper isn't due until sometime in March... or after the teacher grades all of the research. I am just relieved the hard part is DONE!! FIN!! Woo hoo!

So... Anyways... ^_^

I started a new project. It's a scarf that I really like. Diagonal rib in Patons SWS colorway Natural Earth. Its for my Secret Pal, so SHH!!
